What It Does...
The original ADP-019 adapter by MCUNALL is very poorly designed and is often inadequately soldered.
These often fail because of the SOP44 socket, it is inferior and looses connection strength to the pins resulting in poor connection to the chip legs only after a handful of uses.
Our designed replacement is more solid and incorporates a few 'fixes' that the original ultimately needed.
When the SOP44 socket fails after extended use, we have designed it to be easily removed for a 'drop'in' replacement, so you can purchase a new socket "DIP44-SOP44" for about £8 from eBay/Amazon and continue programming.
We take NO responsibility for failed installs which renders the console in-operable, we do however offer an installation service.
